The Firm has successfully completed acquisition of CIMEX STEEL, a company dedicated to trading of metallurgic materials.

DUNOVSKA & PARTNERS, acting as an advisor to the seller, is pleased to announce a successful sale of Léčebné lázně Jáchymov to a strategic investor. The Buyer – Radonové lázně Jáchymov, a.s. – have acquired the enterprise of Léčebné lázně Jáchymov for around 700 million CZK which gave them exclusive rights for the use of the entire spa resort, a facility that offers a unique treatment of chronic musculoskeletal system defects with the help of radioactive radon-enriched water.

ČSOB succeeded in arbitration proceedings at the International Court of Arbitration with the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris claiming a payment of about 1.5 billion CZK from the Czech Republic. David Urbanec was nominated by ČSOB and participated in the proceedings as an expert in respect of the Czech Bill of Exchange Law.

The Firm has successfully finalized its legal advice to prestigious local IT provider AutoCont CZ, a.s. with transformation of companies engaged in CAD business. The transformation was accomplished using Spin-off by Absorption procedure.

The Firm was chosen through a selection process to serve as External Legal Counsel for the Financial Restructuring Department at Volksbank, CZ.

Effectively as of April 1, 2011 the Constitution CourtGeneral assembly revoked Insolvency Act statute which excludes the right of creditors to deny authenticity, amount and succession of claims during insolvency proceedings. It is expected that creditors will start challenging filed immediately. We will bring further details as soon as the Constitution Court ruling in question is published.
