Jan Vavřina is a partner of DUNOVSKÁ & PARTNERS. He commenced his legal practice in 2000 in one of the first private law firms in Prague, and was a partner from 2006 to 2008. He has practical experience in the whole field of commercial law foucusing on contract law and litigation. He has extensive experience in security of obligations (Bills of Exchange, pledge rights), assertion of claims for compensation for defects and recovery of damage specifically in IT and the construction business. Jan Vavřina is specialized on Real Estate, Construction, Media and Information Technology.
Jan Vavřina leads the bankruptcy/insolvency team. He provides legal advisory to creditors, bankruptcy trustees and insolvency administrators and represents clients in creditors' committees. Jan Vavřina has passed successfully the special insolvency administrator exams and he operates through AB insolvence v.o.s., a company with special permission to act as insolvency administrator for “large debtors”.
Jan Vavřina also specializes in litigation where he exercises and defends the rights of clients in front of general and arbitration courts, including bankruptcy and execution proceedings.
